Since opening Ontario’s first Bowen Therapy Clinic in 2007 Joe Vander Ploeg has spearheaded the extraordinary growth of the therapy in Ontario and Canada.

Joe is a Registered Bowen Therapist and graduate of both the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia (Bowtech©) and the North American Bowen Teaching College Inc. He is one of few therapists in Ontario having completed all advanced certification courses for Bowen Therapy. He is also trained in GaitScan™ analysis for custom orthotics and compression hosiery fitting. In addition, Joe Vander Ploeg includes a rehabilitative movement and exercise therapy program in his practice. He completed his instructor training with the Bowen Therapy College in 2009 and will start teaching in 2010.

Joe Vander Ploeg’s practice is committed to individual assessment and treatment of his patients. His very dynamic approach has been a source of inspiration to many clients and colleagues over the years.

Grace became a Bowen Therapist in answer to a calling to care for the suffering of others. Originally educated in chemistry and pharmacy she switched her focus from the mainstream of pharmacy to the non-conventional world of alternative medicine.

Having a personal experience with a seemingly miraculous cure from Bowen Therapy gave Grace a new direction in life, and a new career. She knew that it was the way to help those who suffer and since learning Bowen therapy she immediately started practicing and having clients report wonderful news such as not needing surgery, becoming pain free and simply ‘getting their lives back’. This gives Grace great satisfaction of ‘being in the right place’ in her life. Grace has treated thousands of clients, who continually appreciate her caring and skillful attention for their complex health issues. She guides each client to their optimum health, using all her knowledge, experience, and love for humanity.

Years of educating herself following her science degrees in herbology, homeopathy, chinese herbs, aromatherapy, nutrition and supplementation give Grace deeper knowledge and understanding of the human body and the most useful ways of addressing the roots of illness.
